saturday was ok. got the hang out the usuals after a long time. :D

decided not to stay for volleyball. i think i've lost my golden touch. haha.

about the skit.

i realised sometimes our curiousity gets the better of us

and we sucuumb into all sorts of different situations, sometimes

leading us into falling into temptaion and into sin.

worse if we don't realise that what we've fallen into is of a sinful nature,

thus trapping us within the walls of the 'box'.

only God's word can truly get us out of it.

Dependancy

No Man is an island.
i'm sure you've heard this once before.

and i say it pretty is damn true.everyone needs a friend/companion.
no one can really survive on their own.

this i say because someone who dosen't have a chance to spend time
with his clique due to their other commitments will, somehow
find others to turn to for companion.
you see. even an introvert like me treasures the time spent with his usual circle of friends,
much less an extrovert who survives on the company of people.

even a hermit (someone who seeks isolation from a society)
needs a companion. most of the time, this companion would be God.
this done in order to bring about a change of heart.

so not one person is really an island.

just one of my rants.

Anger

in this world
there are two types of people when it comes to anger.
let me put it in a restaurant context.

there's the customer that always blows his top off
at the waiter everytime the waiter gets his order wrong.
scolding and humiliating the waiter.
this happens regularly.

then there's the waiter that always gets scolded, humiliated
and degraded by angry customers.
the waiter just bottles everything in.
Then one fine day he can no longer take it anymore, he has reached his boiling point.
He lets it all out
and shoots everyone in the resteraunt dead.

you see.
most people are quick to show their anger, sometimes hurting others in the process.
though this may not be good,
these people cool down much faster.

but there are people that keep everything within them.
They are those that don't directly show their anger.
they don't directly vent their anger, they'd rather keep it to themselves.
but it's impossible to keep everything in side forever.
just like a volcano.
these type of people will one day release all their bottled up frustrations
releasing disaster of catastrophic proportions.

so yea.
those are my thoughts after some very careful observations
of these two different types of people.

saturday was fun!!!

youth did the sabbath school and

we did the panelist thingy with calvin t.

i prepared really good answers but calvin forgot to ask me. =.=

its ok.

then karen preached,

it was good and pretty powerful message.

then after that went to prepare somethings for pathfinder's day.

Pathfinder's Day itself was ok i guess.

the other clubs were interesting as well.

and i finally got 3 more honours, good conduct award and

Excellence award.

thanks for the standing ovation while i recieved my award

dudes (shan, calvin and hansel).

hahahaha.

my pursuit to be the best pathfinder i can.

then after that went to raffles city.

the swissotel stamford.

stayed there overnight, plus there was small group.

so hung out with nic, tash, franics, abigail and sis.

it was fun! hahaaha...

we camera freaked a while.

then roughly about 1 am we went to bras basah mac's

for some food.

parents seemed hungry at that time. lol

though we did witness the wrath of a pissed Nicolette.

and her ultimate hatred for children.
