oha, anyways. went for YOUTH ALIVE 08 on friday and yesterday. it was pretty good. i'll surely be going next year. although i was a wee bit uncomfortable with the song service. but got to learn to respect how other churches worship. it was really good though. real good. anyways. if you have a problem with the way something is presented. i'd rather you leave than stay but keep making critical and insensitive remarks. OHYEA!!! i got to play with nicholas' (awesome guitarist from jurong) VOX wawa pedal and flanger. OMG, im so going to save up for that too.. oh mann.. it was... how to put it? orgasmic? haha. joke. but seriously. i now realise why the wawa is one of the best effects for guitars. i loved the flanger. it gave the guitar this spacey, warm, dimensional kinda sound. i was literally oozing with pleasure after playing with the guitar + effects. i've never felt that way before. omg. i really really want effects!! ARGHH.. shannon! buy for me. i was so shocked at how much better my playing sounded with effects, i was shaking after that... anyways, the jurong youth a are cool bunch of people. haha. maybe i'll go there once in a while.

i really wish film would come at a cheaper price. ugh, anyways. went to a few guitar shops yesterday. whoa. i'm soo going to start saving up for a Fender Jagstang. cost: $1,200. im so going to get a good guitar that suits me one day. my pitiful guitar at home just dosen't fulfill my needs.. i also saw a few vintages. but they are way out of my league. i saw a 69' Fender Strat. Cost: $22,000. sick man. anyways, exams are in rougly 2 weeks time. gotta study.

september! i beckon you!! come to me quickly! so i may relax and enjoy 5 weeks of lethargic filled days spent cooped up at home!!
anyways. school is really really boring. the lessons are soooo terribly loooongg... *yawn* the teachers could actually shorten lesson time by
at least an hour if they actually decided to teach at a faster pace. but noooooo, have to wait for all those bagongs who come at least an hour late.ARGHH. by reducing a normal lesson which is usually 1h30m to 1h, we'd get to go for break earlier. which so happens to be so unrealistically loong, so break should then be reduced from 1h to 45mins. thus. i have a minimum of 3 lessons a day with an hour of break. so id be saving 1hour and 45 minutes. therefore not only do i arrive home earlier, my school would be saving all that money spent on air conditiong for the class rooms! save money equals bonus for teacher equals more motivated teachers equals better teachers equals motivated students higher pecentage of students that can graduate equals happier principal equals better school equals international recognition! aiya. whywhywhy! hahaha.

anyways. i rmb i used to call myself saber tooth chicken 2 years ago. ahh. the randomness of a 16 year old.

MONDAY

weekend wasn't bad. quite fun actually. saturday was spent at church. pathfinder then had an AY program. was quite meaningful, but the marching was just hilarious. haha. and calvin's shoes were killing me, now i have deep cuts on both my legs. freaking painful even if i wear long socks. sunday was relatively boring. just went to jumble sale then slacked off the whole day. felt quite bad i didn't study. haha.

anyways, i feel really jealous about those people who have had close friends for more than 8 years.i've never really had that kind of friendship. i guess i'm just a late bloomer in that sense. oh wells.

gosh, thanks goodness its friday. been looking forward to the weekend. schook this week wasn't as fun as last week. been concentrating more on work i guess. decided not to play CS after finishing my tutorials too. makes no difference, i'm the first to die anyways haha.. i can't believe its already August.. time is flying too fast yea. dosen't feel like a year has passed. strange, i know.
